Pastor: Rev. Steve Hoden grew up in Duluth, Minnesota. He went to North Park Seminary in Chicago, IL, graduating in 2003. Steve became the pastor at Salem in April of 2003. He has been married to Kitty over 30 years, and they have five children: Steve Jr. (married to Becky), Phillip (married to Danielle), Matthew, Laura and Allison. The Hodens are excited to live in Oakland.
Church Chairperson: Tim Anderson and his wife Debbie live in Oakland.
Church Vice-Chair: Anna Anderson and husband Paul live in Oakland.
Lay Youth Pastor: Deb Bonsall was born in Oakland and lives in Bancroft with husband, Glenn. They have two sons, Scott, wife Heidi and three children of Norfolk and Chris, wife Candi and two children of Bancroft. Their daughter, Nikki and husband Brian and daughter, live in Nebraska City.
Office Secretary: Molly and Loretta are in the office most Thursday mornings.
